Bodyman

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Bodyman to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in bodywork, prepping, and painting procedures, along with strong fabrication and welding skills. You should be capable of performing detailed repairs on vehicle bodies, including replacing front-end, underbody components, doors, and frames.

Requirements:

Must have bodyman experience
Knowledge of prepping and painting procedures
Ticket wanted but not required if skill set it up to requirements
Knowledge to replace front end, body and underbody components as well as doors and frames
Knowledge to file, grind, and sand body surfaces
Ability to hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
Be able to remove damaged fenders, panels and grilles
Welding knowledge and be able to change, repair and patch panels
Disassemble ad reassemble painted and coated components without causing damage
Fabrication skills – Rollers, Wheels, Shrinker, Stretching and bending
Punctual and respectful
Valid drivers license
Ability to work independently and as a team
Keep a clean and safe work environment
Ability to rear, write and communicate clearly with other team members
Need to be able to document material used on projects and keep daily time sheets

Prepper/Painter

Job Description

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep & Paint Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a 2nd year apprentice or higher with hands-on experience in vehicle prep and painting, and possesses a strong work ethic and a passion for quality craftsmanship.

Requirements:

Must have prep/paint experience
2nd year apprentice or higher
Must have some of your own tooling/ tool box
Ability to inspect projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is completed properly
Apply masking to the bumpers, windows and trim for primer
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding/blocking and applying primer as needed
Ability to speak, read and write clearly for proper communication between team and interpret work orders
Able to document materials used per project and complete daily time sheets for labor allocation
Use hand tools and industrial paint equipment safely and effectively
Ability to lift heavier objects, physical ability to be on the ground, kneeling, laying, sitting and standing for long periods of time
Has to be motivated and dedicated
Need to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Ability to work independently and as a team
Valid driver’s license
